Black Sesame Banana Bread 黑芝麻香蕉麵包蛋糕
I met banana bread for the first time when I moved to the States and this quick bread has been one of my favorite breakfast options ever since. I love to have a cup of iced or hot latte to go with a slice of banana bread. It’s one of my favorite ways to start my day and I find it very comforting.
I have made many banana bread recipes, it is one of the first breads I learned how to make. I love both the plain and the chocolate chip versions. This recipe I created includes an ingredient that I ate a lot since I was a kid. Black sesame is considered healthy and has a lot of benefits. I love the taste and the aroma in a lot of my desserts - it’s also a very popular dessert flavor in asian desserts. The result came out pretty nice - the color of the black sesame adds a chic touch to the rustic banana bread, and the aroma of the black sesame is just so pleasant and amazing. A great banana bread recipe with an asian twist!
